HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR — CAREERS CAMPAIGN EXAMPLE

THE WORK

• Operate excavators, dozers, loaders and skid steers based on experience and assignment.
• Work from grade stakes, cut and fill to plan, and support utility and site crews in the field.
• Complete daily equipment walk-arounds, communicate with the foreman and keep a safe work zone.

WHAT A STRONG CANDIDATE BRINGS

• Verifiable heavy-equipment experience and sound grade awareness.
• Dependable attendance, clear communication and respect for equipment and crew.
• A valid driver’s license; CDL and utility experience can be highlighted if approved.
